In 2014, Julien-Félix Carrier joint the multidisciplinary Pyrotech BEI team. He is a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec and, in 2008, he obtained a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Université Laval.
As a forensic engineer, Julien-Félix produces expert reports on disasters related to storm water management affecting buildings of infrastructure as well as civil works and facilities. His areas of expertise include analysis of building envelope issues, hydraulic analysis of projects, civil works and improvements, damage to infrastructure caused by ground instability as well as hydrological analysis of weather events, damage to infrastructure caused by the instability of the ground as well as the qualitative analysis of building materials.
Previously, Julien-Félix worked in the field of water ressource management and in the quality control of construction materials. Because of these responsibilites, he acquired knowledge in moedelin and design of drainage systems and hydraulic structures, in design of plans and estimates for civil infrastructure, in analysis of hydrological events as weel as in standards and metholds of setting up building materials.
His years of engineering experience ensures you quick technical answers to questions relating to civil engineering.
In his spare time, Julien-Félix likes rock climbing, running in addition to downhill skiingeconomics and geopolitics.
