Mathieu Bellavance

In 2019, Mathieu Bellavance joined the multidisciplinary Pyrotech BEI team as a a forensic engineer, mechanical expert. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Cégep du Vieux Montréal and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from École de Technologie Supérieure in 2005.

As part of the Pyrotech BEI team, Mathieu carries out technical investigations mainly related to the field of mechanics, including road transport vehicles, and carries out expert reports.

Previously, Mathieu worked for nearly 14 years in the field of aeronautics, as a structural stress analyst. This experience allows him to understand in depth the mechanical systems analyzed during his mandates.

Outside of work, he loves to play sports, mainly mountain biking, tennis, hockey and downhill skiing. His great passion is the motorcycling, wether on the road, on the race tracks or in the off-road trails.
