Étienne Routhier

In 2023, Etienne Routhier joined multidisciplinary Pyrotech BEI team as an expert in the origin and cause of fires. He holds a bachelor's degree in secondary education, obtained in 2008, as well as a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, obtained in 2019, both from Université Laval.

Previously, Etienne taught for around ten years in high schools, mainly chemistry and mathematics. He also worked three years as a project engineer in the field of building energy efficiency. Its role was to carry out energy simulations, deploy efficiency measures and optimize subsidies.

In his free time, he enjoys mountain biking and is a musician in his spare time. He plays acoustic and electric guitar, voice, harmonica and sometimes piano and mandolin.
