A member of the Ordre des ing\u00e9nieurs du Qu\u00e9bec, he holds a bachelor\u2019s degree in mechanical engineering from \u00c9cole de Technologie Sup\u00e9rieure (\u00c9TS).<\/p>\n<p>Within the mechanical engineering department, Allyn conducts investigations on the origin and cause of fires and failures involving road vehicles and mechanical equipment.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, Allyn worked as a project manager in material resources for a school board in the Montr\u00e9al area and thereafter as an energy efficiency consultant. He subsequently held positions as a production engineer, draftsman, and designer, overseeing the production launch of mobile panels.<\/p>\n<p>In his spare time, Allyn enjoys spending time with his family and cycling both on the road and trails.
