A member of the Ordre des ing\u00e9nieurs du Qu\u00e9bec, he holds a bachelor\u2019s degree in mechanical engineering from Universit\u00e9 de Sherbrooke, obtained in 1996.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Within the mechanical engineering department, he conducts investigations on the origin and cause of failures involving road vehicles and industrial equipment. He also investigates the origin and cause of fires in residential and commercial buildings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>David previously worked for nearly ten years in road vehicle design and spent approximately twelve years as a structural analysis specialist in the aerospace sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In his spare time, David devotes his free time to his family and enjoys outdoor activities, sports, and playing the piano.
