A member of the Ordre des ing\u00e9nieurs du Qu\u00e9bec, he holds a bachelor\u2019s degree in mechanical engineering from Universit\u00e9 Laval, obtained in 1997.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Within the electrical engineering department, \u00c9ric conducts investigations on the origin and cause of fires in residential and commercial buildings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Previously, he has worked for 22 years in the aeronautics industry, with more than 15 years in the engineering department supporting hydromechanical systems. His main responsibilities involved analyzing and resolving issues related to hydromechanical systems to ensure the functionality and certification of devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In parallel, \u00c9ric also worked in a company specializing in the development of firefighting tools and is the co-inventor of a revolutionary fire cannon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In his spare time, \u00c9ric enjoys outdoor activities, particularly hiking and mountain biking, which he has practiced for over 30 years.
