A member of the Ordre des ing\u00e9nieurs du Qu\u00e9bec, he holds a bachelor\u2019s degree in electrical engineering from \u00c9cole de Technologie Sup\u00e9rieure (\u00c9TS), obtained in 1988, and a master\u2019s degree in business administration (MBA) obtained in 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Director of the information technology (IT) and technical services department, Ga\u00ebtan also conducts investigations on the origin and cause of electrical failures and fires occurring in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. With more than 29\u00a0years of experience as an electrical engineer, he is recognized as an expert witness in court.<\/p>\n<p>Ga\u00ebtan has previously worked in the pulp and paper industry, process automation, and passenger rail transportation.
