He holds a bachelor\u2019s degree in mechanical engineering from Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Trois-Rivi\u00e8res.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"222\" data-end=\"490\">Within the mechanical engineering department, Jean-Philippe conducts investigations on the origin and cause of failures involving road vehicles and industrial equipment. He also performs collision reconstructions and carries out tests and simulations to validate hypotheses.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"492\" data-end=\"796\">During his university studies, he completed an internship with a major urban bus manufacturer within the heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning team. He also worked for a manufacturer of industrial trucks, where he was responsible for installing various components of the electrical power system.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"798\" data-end=\"965\">He was involved in the Formula SAE team, an engineering competition focused on the design and fabrication of a single-seat race car.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"967\" data-end=\"1221\">His experience strengthened his expertise in automotive mechanics, a field in which he has long been passionate.
