Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Electrical Engineering<\/strong><\/p>\n Marc-Andr\u00e9 Ducharme joined Pyrotech BEI as a forensic expert (electrical engineer). A member of the Ordre des ing\u00e9nieurs du Qu\u00e9bec, he holds a bachelor\u2019s degree in electrical engineering from \u00c9cole de Technologie Sup\u00e9rieure, obtained in 2010.<\/p>\n Within the electrical engineering department, Marc-Andr\u00e9 conducts investigations on the origin and cause of fires and electrical failures.<\/p>\n He previously worked in aeronautics for ten years, focusing on aircraft engine simulation and avionics systems. His role involved developing new simulation models, conducting laboratory and customer trials and tests worldwide, and debugging these complex systems.<\/p>\n He also worked as an electrical engineering consultant and served as a director of engineering in the field of embedded electronic systems for the automotive, agricultural, and home automation sectors.<\/p>\n He has co-invented several products, including an autonomous accessory battery charging system for electric vehicles, an intermittent windshield wiper control system for agricultural tractors, and a remote gas fireplace control system via a mobile application.<\/p>\n In his spare time, Marc-Andr\u00e9 utilizes his expertise by carrying out various construction and repair projects as he is the owner of apartment buildings.
