Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering

Philippe Levasseur joined Pyrotech BEI as a forensic expert (mechanical engineer). A member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec, he holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Université Laval, obtained in 2013.

Within the mechanical engineering department, Philippe conducts investigations pertaining to the origin and cause of failures involving road vehicles and mechanical equipment.

He previously worked as an aircraft maintenance technician for approximately ten years with companies providing flight training and helicopter charter services. He later held the position of a mechanical engineer with manufacturing companies specializing in tooling, particularly in the aeronautical and concrete finishing sectors.

In his spare time, Philippe places great importance on family life and is actively involved in work on his small farm, including taking care of animals, gardening, and maintaining the wooded area. He also enjoys outdoor activities such as fishing and hunting.
