Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Engineering and Management

Éric Tremblay joined Pyrotech BEI in 2013 as a forensic expert (civil engineer). A member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec, he holds a bachelor’s degree in construction engineering and management from École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS), obtained in 1992.

Within the civil engineering department, he conducts investigations on water infiltration and drainage problems, soil and foundation stability, and assessments of fire-damaged or deteriorated building structures, and compliance of residential, commercial, and industrial building with construction standards. He is also recognized as an expert witness in court.

Previously, Éric owned a construction company from 2008 to 2013, during which he completed approximately fifteen turnkey industrial projects totaling over 18 million dollars. Throughout his career, he has been involved in all areas of construction activities, primarily on turnkey projects. He has extensive expertise in cost estimations, project management, subcontractor negotiations, and professional coordination.

In his spare time, Éric enjoys road biking, snowboarding, and spending time outdoors.
